Description: The rider is giving his horse a much deserved drink in a blue cool water pond with the glorious western mountains in the background. The artist, Edna Ganzhorn Unsworth 1890-1972, signed the work G. Unsworth and dated it 1952. Mrs. Unsworth was the wife of artist Robert Unsworth and they lived in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Long Beach. She was well exhibited all over the California region. This is a very universally appealing scene and certainly does show the California that old movies portrayed. 15" wide by 12" tall.
