Brighton Chain Pier is one of the British artists J. M. W. Turner's best loved works and shows the town of Brighton in the background on the southern coast of England with the pier heading out toward the sea and the seawall in the left foreground. The boats and figures are dressed in 19th century apparal and the image while classic and certainly not one of today is timeless with a nostalgic appearance and appeal. The etching is not framed and is currently in an acid free matting and ready to frame. The condition is excellent, crisp and you can almost smell the sea air.
