Description:  Mrs. Kirmse was a well known illustrator of dogs. She lived in the New York City area and Bridgeport Conn. region. She created a well defined fur coat on these dogs and the position of heads is very realistic. She lived from 1885-1954.

Description:  This etching is of a desert flower called Spanish Bayonet. It is done in either brown ink or black ink browned with age. It is etched on brown paper and has an off white matting. The picture depicts a Spanish Bayonet on a mountain or hill. There is some other plant life around including cacti and there are some small rocks. Overall a nice piece suitable for a western decor or a western art lover. Richardson Rome was a well known Colorado artist who is listed in most major references on American Artists.

Item:  19th Century Engraving "Brighton Chain Pier" by J. M W. Turner

Description:  Brighton Chain Pier is one of the British artists J. M. W. Turner's best loved works and shows the town of Brighton in the background on the southern coast of England with the pier heading out toward the sea and the seawall in the left foreground. The boats and figures are dressed in 19th century apparal and the image while classic and certainly not one of today is timeless with a nostalgic appearance and appeal. The etching is not framed and is currently in an acid free matting and ready to frame. The condition is excellent, crisp and you can almost smell the sea air.
