Title: English Oak Beveled Glass Eight Day Wall Clock
|
| |
Description
This eight day movement wall clock has beveled glass panels in the bottom of the door to view the large pendulum. The works have been repaired and the case appears to be all original and possibly refinished thirty years ago. These are very decorative and for Oak collectors, the appeal is very well done. |

|
| |
Description
Likely to be 19th Century, this brass ship clock from J. Bruce & Sons of Liverpool is in running order. The owner had it cleaned several years ago but does not keep completely accurate time. The dimensions of the clock are 6 1/2 inches in diameter and 4 1/2 inches deep or thick This clock came from a ship that sunk off the coast of New Jersey around 1975. The company that made this clock was a major English clock maker for White Star Lines, owner of Titanic. Their company made the ships clocks for Titanic and the clock firms son was rescued and survived the sinking. It has one winding spot and does not have a place for a bell or chime. |

Title: Seth Thomas Ships Clock Brass
|
| |
Description
Works are stamped Seth Thomas, very tight hinge in good original condition, the clock is working and has dimensions of 8 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches deep. As this goes to catalogue, the clock has run for over 8 hours, the chimes are not working but everything else seems to. This came off a ship that burned off the coast of New Jersey around 1975 and the clock is likely to be from the 1920s or so. The previous owner states that he has had the works cleaned and repaired but I would count on my own cleaning as this was done several years ago. |
