Title: Steam Train Crossing a Bridge
|
| |
Description
This view of 2 children playing by a forked stream has a steam train going across a tall arched column bridge behind. The bridge is very architectural with heavy dental style molding showing across the top of the bridge. The painting has been cleaned, relined and is in an old, if not original frame. The appeal of the children in the period victorian clothing is undeniable, the steam train interesting, and the entire scene one of innocence and nostalgia. This is an oil on canvas and is in excellent condition. |

The oil on canvas painting has been cleaned and is in excellent condition. This is a very Victorian appearing painting and the gentleman is a pleasant sort of chap. |
