One of the interesting aspects of this book is seeing what the scientific thoughts were 100+ years ago and how they either did or did not reflect the accurate viewpoint of today. Many early portraits of prospectors, wildcatters and other colorful characters in the petroleum industry are found here. There is some wear to the book cover but the pages are tight on the spine and for its age is in good condition.
