Coin Silver dinner forks are not common and to find a matched set of six is unusual. These are possibly by William Smith of Philadelphia. By the Civil War, most coin silver was replaced by either manufactured Sterling or Silver Plate. These are in excellent condition and are a pattern most collectors could use with other pieces. |

The glass in this piece is etched and lightly cut in the style of Bohemia the silver is marked sterling and shows a musician in front of classic buildings. The condition is good and the piece sparkles. This is an elegant piece of silver and cut glass, with a use that could be for either beverages or salad dressing. The Victorian appeal is certainly there and the quality is outstanding. |
